The Curve of Her Arm

The Curve of Her Arm
by Robin Mullet and Holli Rainwater
Night Ballet Press, 2019

Cover Art and Illustrations by
Becky Hernandez

Can I just say how exciting it is to hold this book in my hands?  It is a poetry collaboration with my friend Robin Mullet--her free verse and my haiku--about the art and practice of qigong

Thanks to Robin, who got this project off the ground.  Thank you for showing up at class and for taking qigong into your heart where you allowed it to soak and simmer with your own stories, emotions, and memories until you were ready to give it back to us with your beautiful words and images.

Thank you to Dianne Borsenik of Night Ballet Press, for taking such care with our poems, giving them a home in such a lovely book.  You are a midwife as well as an editor and publisher.

Thank you so much to Becky Hernandez for the beautiful cover artwork and illustrations.  The whole world is represented in this mandala, a bursting forth of creativity and stillness--a representation of the human body and soul moving toward wholeness.

These books are available through Night Ballet Press.

Robin and I will be launching our book with An Afternoon of Poetry and Qigong on Saturday, March 23 at 4:00 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 North Whitewoman Street, Coshocton, OH  43812.
